CBD is one of over 113 compounds found in cannabis that belong to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations and are therefore the most recognized and studied.
The human body has an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that receives and translates signals from cannabinoids. It produces some cannabinoids of its own, which are called endocannabinoids. The ECS helps to regulate functions such as sleep, immune-system responses, and pain.
CBD is an entirely different compound from THC (which produces the high feeling), and its effects are very complex. It is not psychoactive, meaning it does not produce a "high" or change a person's state of mind, but it influences the body to use its own endocannabinoids more effectively.
CBD is non-psychoactive. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a high. While this makes CBD a poor choice for recreational users, it gives the chemical a significant advantage as a human supplement, since health professionals prefer treatments with minimal side effects.
CBD is not included in the Criminal Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 or amendments as a banned substance. THC is however, a banned substance within the CMDA, therefore, all of Flora Fusion products are compliant with governmental THC policy and current CBD Oil Law.
There is, as you must know, lots and lots of information about CBD oil all over the internet with regards to how it can be used for both pain and anxiety. Flora Fusion are commited to remaining compliant with UK regulations with regards to using CBD for medical use... which means we can't make medical claims out the products. If you do with to use these supplements for pain relief, we suggest you follow the instructions for each product, which are on the product pages.
